Sara Delaney started her career as a police officer in Southern California where she rose to the rank of sergeant. After 27 years, she transferred to the
District Attorney's Office in Marin County as a Detective. In 1989 She was voted Officer of the year by her agency's peers and in 1999, she obtained a law degree
from Western State University.
After a 36-year career in law enforcement, she found her calling to serve and engage with seniors.
She and her husband relocated to Texas in 2018 and immediately knew they were home. They have three
adult children, and two at home - Ella the border collie/ husky mix and Maurice the cat.
